Once you have a print ready file (a digital file produced in design layout software), turnaround to finished books is typically 3-4 weeks, including production of your press proof, and allowing time for you to check your proof. If you have an event deadline for delivery of your books, notify us at the start so we can work with you to achieve it
Cost per book varies widely depending on the size, colour of print (colour pages are more expensive than black), cover finish, and quantity per print run. The best option is to ask for an initial estimate on your likely specification and quantity. We can then work with you to achieve the most economical outcome.
If you can use a graphic design software package and produce high resolution pdf file for the cover and internal pages, then yes. Otherwise we strongly recommend you get professional design assistance. An experienced book designer will create an appealing cover (your book will be judged by its cover!) and an internal layout that is appealing, easy to read and supports your content. Professional designers also know how to supply designs correctly for print.
