Know what you want to say

Decide the main point viewers need to know, and stick to it. Don’t lose focus or your poster will lose impact. Keep copy simple, with only essential information.

Sell with benefits

Put yourself in the mind of the customer. Sell your product, service or event with the benefit
to the viewer in mind.

Use high quality images

Great images are the best way to attract attention. One large image makes much more impact than lots of small, busy images.

Use a professional for design and printer

Intelligent design will increase the impact of your poster immensely, and high quality print reproduction will enhance viewer perception.

Which material should I use?

The environment in which you use your poster, the length of time it needs to last, and of course your budget will determine which substrate is the best choice.

What Poster size is right for my project?

Standard sizing for posters uses the same A series system we use for smaller printed items. Each size is twice the area of the previous size.

  • A3 – 420 x 297mm (double the size of A4)
  • A2 – 420 x 594mm (double A3)
  • A1 -840 x 594mm
  • A0 – 1188 x 840mm

Of course, if you need a non-standard size, that’s no problem – posters are printed on a wide format machine and cut to size, so customization is possible
